PoI - Point of Interest
PoI, the location based Point of Interest application for your iPhone
Where is the nearest ..? Well you name it. If you ever asked this question and wanted to have a quick answer, then PoI maybe something useful for you.
If you know the comfort of driving a car with navigation system, then you will be familiar with the concept of finding Points of Interest nearby. This comes now to the iPhone with PoI (iTunes-Link).
PoI will locate you when starting and with one click shows you the nearest Restaurants, Bars, Gas stations, and so on. With an iPhone 3G you will even be guided to the respective point of interest.
Version 1.0 will give you access to 20 pre-defined categories. We will amend these categories on your requests. Furthermore we are planning to add a "custom" search.
